job summary:

The Business Strategy and Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the Marketing and Sales Solutions organization, whose purpose is to help maximize the benefits obtained from existing Marketing & Sales solutions, such as Salesforce, as well as new solutions. Responsibilities include supporting Marketing & Sales Solutions' strategic projects with a focus around user experience, adoption and improving business processes. Activities include helping build project strategies, support planning efforts, resolve issues and develop messaging and knowledge materials for solution users.

Basic Qualifications:

Salesforce Sales Cloud and Oracle Eloqua experience.

Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 4

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED

Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Working with large teams that include stakeholders from multiple functions to undertake scoping, financial estimating and management of project work;

- Understanding of marketing and sales business strategy and operations to identify business activities and processes that would be more efficient with specific solutions;

- Working knowledge of sales methodology to align business processes marketing and sales pursuit-related specialization and support a business development strategy and desired pursuit behaviors;

- Understanding sales, marketing and/or professional scope of services and knowledge and can apply to projects thus demonstrating abilities to serve as a change agent;

- Working with business, sector, and company-level issues facing complex organizations;

- Delivering innovative solutions and delivery of programs and materials; and,

- Understanding of systems, tools, and resources and their impact on business development and pursuit efforts.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in the following areas:

- Developing and strengthening relationship management, stakeholder management, change management, and influencing without authority;

- Communicating with business leaders;

- Managing tasks and projects;

- Adapting to rapidly changing environment;

- Working effectively within tight deadlines and firm schedules;

- Problem-solving and negotiation skills;

- Building and strengthening relationships with regards to competency in relationship management, stakeholder management, change management, and influencing without authority;

- Working effectively within tight deadlines and firm schedules;

- Managing large, highly visible, complex projects of varying scope;

- Demonstrating the ability to work with team management concepts and principles including facilitation skills, diplomacy, creativity, organization, knowledge of business development processes; and,

- Identifying and defining needs to provide insight to leadership to help them make decisions that may impact organizations US-Wide and globally, where applicable.
