Experis has partnered with a leader in the Telecommunication sector to help grow their team, hiring for Siebel Developer (REMOTE)

This is a 12 months initial contract assignment with possibility of convert perm FTE

Experienced Senior Systems Engineer with Siebel Application Development Background


  • Close working relation with Business teams, Technical Teams, understand the business processes, system requirements
  • Requirements Analysis, Impact Analysis and high-level design, design reviews
  • Look for opportunities for continual improvements in infrastructure and processes
  • Design and Code Reviews for the developed components
  • Track development activities and Monitor development progress per the Project Plan and Milestones
  • Migrate developed code components to different environments per QA Strategy
  • Active participation in QA Phases such as Test Planning, Test Scripts Preparation, Test Data Preparation, and Defect Resolution for various Test Cycles (System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing)
  • Analyze reported Defects, code fixes, prioritize of deployments and tracking to closure
  • Provide Technical solutions adhering to Siebel best practices and coding standards
  • Package Deployment Ready Code Components and work with Siebel Admins for Code Deploy
  • Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
  • Ensure a scalable process and infrastructure with a focus on high availability
  • Adapts to changing and evolving business priorities by offering options and constructive ideas on how to achieve the goals given the realities of time and resources
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Willingness to pitch-in and help others on the team as needed
  • Keep abreast of technology trends and best practice with the ability to share those findings with the team
  • Adhere to the standards of the team while also looking for opportunities to improve on team processes
  • Diagnose system performance problems using available standard performance tools and system indicators such as queue lengths, CPU utilization and provide solutions for identified Performance Incidents
  • Assist Support Teams/Users with system enhancements and new features

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):

  • Experience in Siebel Open UI and High Interactivity version.
  • Experience in Siebel Functional Entity mappings, Data Element Mappings
  • Provide Technical solutions adhering to Siebel best practices and coding standards
  • Familiarity and hand on experience with Siebel Tools, Web Tools, eScript, components'
  • Configuration Parameters
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery API
  • Ability to solution design and develop components using Siebel Workflows, Assignment Manager, EAI, EIM
  • Ability to prepare, Review Siebel Deployment Strategy, Deployment Plan
  • Ability to build SQL queries using Microsoft SQL server and Oracle, generate ad-hoc data extracts
  • Post Prod Support and resolution of reported issues
  • Involvement with APM Tools: OEM, Siebel Plugin, SQL Server Plugin, NewRelic etc


  • Ability to scale up to learn new environments and technologies and provide solutions for migration efforts
  • Ability to understand the end to end business requirements of Customer Premise Equipment like products


University Bachelors Degree or above
