We are currently recruiting for a Regional Vice President of Sales (RVP) responsible for driving the growth of the Institutional Special Needs Plan (ISNP) in the Central region, comprised of 5 States.  The RVP is responsible for developing the regional sales organization, managing a monthly membership budget, and serving as the sales executive for client contact for the region.

If you are located in the Central Region, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Driving monthly membership growth, consistent with the budget, for the region
  • Demonstrating leadership through participation with a cross functional leadership team, including physician, network and clinical representation
  • Hiring, recruiting and developing sales talent and leadership in the region
  • Active engagement with the functional sales leadership team, under the direction of the National Vice President of Sales
  • Ongoing communication with market leadership (P&L owner)
  • Manage sales leader(s) and or direct reports to ensure CCM sales model is implemented consistently.  (Examples include use of pacing report, adherence with implementation model, enforcement of model office standards, use of daily stand up call, and other sales principles.)
  • Recruit, hire and assist with the training of sales personnel
  • Provide oversight of day to day direction from Sales Directors
  • Drive customer relationship management
  • Utilize data to drive recommendations on resource allocations
  • Attend monthly regional leadership team meetings and provide recommendations on barriers and cross functional issues
  • Conduct weekly 1 / 1 with direct reports to facilitate and monitor performance
  • Face to face contact with regional and national Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) personnel
  • Monitor performance on all SNF launches to ensure penetration targets and clinical efficiency metrics are maintained
  • Provide compliance oversight and ensure all assigned sales personnel abide by the Medicare Marketing Guidelines
  • Serve as subject matter expert for market(s)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field (education, journalism, communications, etc.) or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years Significant experience managing a sales organization preferably with direct to consumer experience
  • Experience in (direct or indirect) in a healthcare setting
  • Managing a salesforce utilizing a standard model, including the use of a CRM (, Siebel, or a similar product) to drive decisions
  • Intermediate user level in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Lead management software knowledge (CRM)
