Job Summary 

The Sales & Marketing CRM Channel Data Analyst will study, evaluate, and identify trends in customer information, call patterns, and demographics. Analyze CRM system data in response to channel sales/marketing initiatives. The Analyst will be involved in the entire analytics stack, from data architecture and implementation to building dashboards and conducting in-depth analysis.

The internal/external data collected and analyzed will help the company achieve growth through AB testing, sales/marketing automation, data-driven insights, digital campaigns, and growth hacking. The Analyst will be responsible for integrating and deploying analytics tools and frameworks required to provide advanced measurement capabilities.

The Analyst will be working in a high impact environment, where details, deadlines, and effective project management are imperative. Sales & Marketing Data Analyst will interface with members of the Enterprise to understand needs and create custom reports and data files.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Strategic Sales and Marketing Support
  • Fulfill data and reporting requests, including data discrepancies, trend analysis (identify any gaps), and forecasting
  • Create custom reports as requested by agency partners
  • Proactively develop analytics in support of revenue growth initiatives
  • Ability to build statistical or ML models to explain and predict behavior
  • Identify patterns in diverse data and generate business insights to impact decision-making
  • Customer Lifecycle Analytics: lifetime value, acquisition, retention, and engagement
  • Consumer Analytics: segmentation and cohort analysis
  • Marketing Channel Analytics: mix modeling, tracking, measurement, multi-touch attribution, and data analysis optimization (e.g., search engine, programmatic, social media, etc.)
  • B2B Marketing Analytics: demand funnel analysis and lead scoring
  • Ability to import and consolidate data from various sources as well as build and maintain effective dashboards
  • Partner with Sales and Product teams to develop Dashboards in support of agency incentive programs, agency-quality metrics, and competitor analysis
  • Collaborate with other departments to test, implement, and integrate marketing tactics
  • Lead data integrity and normalization efforts

Qualifications

  • Ability to present and communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way
  • Autonomous, driven, resourceful
  • Experience managing multi-faceted analytics projects, synthesizing and presenting actionable insights from a variety of data-points and analyses
  • Ability to work with APIs
  • Experience with AI and ML
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field (Business, Mathematics, Marketing, Psychology/Sociology, Finance, etc.) is required
  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience in product marketing, data analysis, consumer market research, consumer insights, strategic marketing, brand management, research and analysis, advertising, and/or strategy
  • 5+ years of experience using BI and Statistical Tools like Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, SQL, Excel, R, Python, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience using web analytics tools/platforms (Google Data Studio/Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics, Google BigQuery, Google Content Experiments, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience using the Salesforce administrative and CRM platforms and Pardot B2B marketing automation solution
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and projects based on departmental needs
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to interact with all departments and levels of the Enterprise including the “C” suite
  • Bonus: Programming including XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks. Understanding of the P&C Insurance industry. E-commerce industry experience
