We are currently seeking a   Sales & Marketing Representative   experienced in Outside Sales / Marketing to join our team.  If you are someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, works well with a team, and has a “customer service spirit” that pushes you to go above and beyond with the confidence to speak up and share your good ideas, we want you!

Location & Hours – Our property is located 717 Dexter Ave N. Seattle, WA 98109.  Your hours are business hours (8:30 – 5:30) with some networking and events falling before and after hours.

Key Features of your Day

  • You will be the expert on your sales area!  You will research your territory, uncover and target leads, attend association meetings and networking events to get to know your business community
  • As a brand ambassador you will use Oakwood branded marketing materials for sales tactics as well as branding awareness campaigns in the local market.
  • Investigate and develop accounts in the market and develop opportunities to conduct sales meetings with decision makers in a variety of different verticals
  • Post highlights on social media sites to enhance exposure for our local property and work closely with the marketing department on results and new areas of opportunity.
  • At Oakwood we sell in a team environment!  You will collaborate with your corporate sales team, your property teams, your operations partners and Oakwood associates at all levels to provide seamless service to our clients.  Teamwork is our culture!
  • Use your creativity!  Work with your Property Manager and your business community to develop and execute effective events.
  • Part of your day will be spent keeping track.  Our CRM is Siebel and you will report all account activities to build business intelligence in your market because knowledge is power! 

Best Candidates will Have

  • 2-3 years of sales & marketing experience, typically in either a direct or sales role for a fixed asset or dedicated property or other business to business setting
  • Exposure to brand awareness, social media marketing and events planning
  • First-level university degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally, in writing and in public presentations required
  • Knowledge of Office Suite proficiency with ability to develop client-ready presentations in PowerPoint and conduct basic database tasks in Excel
  • Knowledge of Siebel or other CRM is a plus
