Position Summary:  The Salesforce Business Systems Analyst (BSA), position functions as a key liaison between business units, participates in or facilitates business requirements collection and supports business cases, cost estimates, and initiatives. The Salesforce BSA possesses technical knowledge of most phases of Salesforce development analysis, analyzes business and user needs and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. This role translates client business needs into system requirements that the Salesforce project teams can understand and act on. The Salesforce Business Analysts wear many hats on their projects and are responsible for everything from requirements gathering, Salesforce configuration, testing, training and post deployment support. As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will work alongside Solution Architects and Technical Architects to design, develop, and deploy large-scale enterprise solutions all while learning and growing your skill set.
Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct requirements gathering, analysis and design, risk analysis, risk mitigation, programming/construction, unit testing and transition of applications into a production environment
  • Act as liaison between business units and internal partners/external vendors by providing accurate and timely updates to all stakeholders and taking a proactive role in solution definition
  • Assist business partners to identify and clarify their goals and requirements
  • Work within an agile team and business product owner(s). Gather, refine and document user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Translate business requirements to functional and technical specifications
  • Application administrative support; manage Salesforce security including roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows and groups.
  • Participate in solution design and testing activities as needed.
  • Create/update data dictionary, data modeling and flow diagrams as needed. Document business process/data flows.
  • Ensure delivery of solution is on schedule and fully functional
  • Oversee submission of change requests and production releases and weekly status reports
  • Manage operational requests and reporting including analysis, issue troubleshooting, prioritization and resolution. Build custom reports, dashboards, and workflows
  • Work with internal team to develop training materials and provide training and support to Salesforce end users
  • Continuous improvement and innovation on the Salesforce platforms and support the evaluation of AppExchange & partner solutions.
  • Other Skills:

  • Strong experience with software testing standards, practices, methods and tools
  • Excellent planning, organization and problem identification skills
  • Excellent information and data analysis skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability
  • Excellent technical and business terminology to consult with clients, vendors and other internal staff
  • Proven ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously (balance workload)
  • Ability to issue direction in a collaborative, team-based environment
  • Experience on a Salesforce implementation through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Required Skills:

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Have experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and SFDC Lightning framework.
  • Experience working in an Agile or "modified-Agile" environment
