Job Overview

Georgetown University seeks a dynamic technology leader for the position of Associate Director of Integrations on our award winning GU360 Project's Salesforce implementation team.

The Associate Director is responsible for the design and implementation of real-time and scheduled integrations between university business systems, documentation and project tracking; and manages vital connections between systems and supports secure, timely data and translation processes touching all areas of the University including Advancement, Student Systems, and HR and Financials.

In addition to connecting enterprise data systems, they use operational and functional knowledge of all aspects of Salesforce and Mulesoft to develop sustainable integrations that are vendor or software agnostic where possible.

Work Interactions

Reporting to the Technical Director, CRM, the Associate Director of Integrations may serve as a member of one or more project teams, with additional reporting line to that project's manager. As well, they have four direct reports and are responsible for managing implementation partners and vendors as applicable to the specific project.

As well, they develop effective working relationships across UIS and with business owners and functional organizations to ensure a detailed understanding of business needs and how to meet them with integrations and UIS tool sets.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related computing-intensive field
* 5 years of experience or a Master's degree in Computer Science/MIS or related computing intensive field with at least 2 years of experience
* Demonstrated experience in building effective working relationships within and across departments, reporting lines, and functional areas while working in diverse and dynamic organizations.
* Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail, as well as demonstrated oral and written communication skills
* Ability to build and use effective working relationships within own department and across line, functional and geographic reporting lines.
* Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills in order to produce timely, efficient and high-quality deliverables
* Demonstrated experience using tools and programming languages for writing and modifying programs that comprise an applications system

Preferred qualifications

* 1 to 4 years of experience in developing integrations for Cloud-based applications (web-based, API, SOAP, REST, etc.) specifically with Salesforce and Mulesoft
* Maintenance and design of relevant enterprise systems (Salesforce, Mulesoft, Workday, Banner, etc.) - with experience in a higher education setting
