**Position Specific Description**

This position that will be part of the Power Delivery IT (PDIT) team working on Salesforce initiatives in support of multiple Power Delivery Business Units.The Salesforce product suite including SF Field Service, Community Portal, mobile features, Scheduling, Maps, and Mulesoft integrations are utilized heavily in enabling solutions that deliver business value to meet business objectives. Specifically, the Power Delivery business unit is looking to use Field Service to manage, schedule and execute the work of up to 10k field crews doing a variety of work in the state.

The Principal Salesforce Architect is responsible for the solution design of Salesforce projects and the overall platform for Power Delivery usage. The Architect will demonstrate deep knowledge for Salesforce Field Service and will map functional requirements to Salesforce features and functionality while understanding the larger vision for FPL and ensuring features are scalable, reusable and built for enterprise supportability. The Architect will be responsible for contributing to all aspects of the analysis, design, development, building and testing of solutions in a Scaled Agile framework. The Architect will work closely with business and IT leaders to design technical solutions to address complex business needs. This individual will develop an understanding of the business requirements and then align technical and process solutions to those requirements. The position will provide governance and best practices/standards supporting the platform adoption and full application lifecycle (design, development, change control, UAT, deployment and support). In addition, this Architect will partner with the Integration team to ensure highly scalable solutions are provided.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**

+ Works with business partners to analyze strategy and trends to define the requirements, principles, and models that guide technology decisions

+ Communicates and enforces technology standards with business partners

+ Understands industry trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies

+ Drives digital innovation and develops roadmaps through new technologies and approaches to fulfill strategic business plans

+ Defines high-level migration plans to address gaps in current state

+ Coaches, mentors, and leads technical subject matters experts to enable and drive consistency across technology architectures

+ Designs and owns governance, assurance, and standards activities for enterprise technology architecture compliance

+ Oversees and facilitates the evaluation, risk assessment, selection, and design of hardware and software technology and product standards

+ Delivers technology architecture artifacts, possibly including reference architectures or concepts of operation

+ Performs other job-related duties as assigned
