Summary:

* Provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and maintaining the Salesforce ecosystems, aligned with Enterprise Architecture strategy and implementation best practices. This includes Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Billing and Field Services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Development of enterprise-wide application and custom integration solutions that include major enhancements and interfaces, as well as functions and features.
* Provide application design that aligns with long and short-term IT and business strategies and provide expertise for the integration of applications across the business.
* Determine the specifications, plans, and design, and individually or with the project team develop complex and business-critical software solutions that utilize the appropriate software engineering processes.
* Develop programming and development standards and procedures, as well as programming architectures code reuse.
* Perform as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent.
* Viewed internally and externally as a technical expert and critical technical resource across multiple disciplines.
* Possess thorough knowledge of state-of-the-art programming languages as well as object-oriented approaches in program design, coding, testing, and debugging.
* Understand and consistently apply current application development methodology attributes and processes.
* Research and track emerging technology to develop business solutions and applications.
* Develop and maintains design plan for technical IT architecture.
* Provide multi-disciplinary knowledge, skills and experience in software architecture and design, distributed application architecture and design, distributed architecture frameworks, n-tier architectures.
* Collaborate, define and maintain effective and efficient development processes, including but not limited to: coding standards, design philosophy, testing methodology, usage of design patterns, UI standards, development and coding tools and procedures.
* Understand integration points and interfaces and ensure that our next generation technology allows for seamless integration.
* Provide expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams and to the business application tools and architecture.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

* Four (4) year degree, advanced degree preferred; experience: 10 to 12 years

Experience

* 5-7 years of object-oriented software development experience
* 5 years developing in the APEX language including Classes and Triggers
* 5 years doing front end development using Force.com
* 5 years of experience performing deployments from Sandbox environments all the way to Production
* Minimum 5 years of experience developing on Sales and Service Clouds
* Minimum of 3 years leading design and solutions with Enterprise Architecture for Salesforce implementations

Skills

* Ability to work with senior business leaders to understand use cases and translate that into technical approach and solution in the Salesforce ecosystem.
* Provide strategic guidance to the IT support teams as well as providing support to projects requiring the integration of technology solutions.
* Ability to evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations to IT leadership on validity.
* Lead all aspects of developing the Salesforce technical architecture, architecture process, frameworks and best practices, as well as oversee the technology integration function to ensure technical alignment across business applications.
* Support the design and approval of integrations inbound and outbound between Salesforce and other systems, both cloud hosted and ADT-hosted.
* The ability to develop and then clearly and effectively communicate sound business cases to executive is also required.
