Job Description
The candidate leads the end-to-end technology solution architectural decision-making on the implementation of Salesforce CPQ as well as lead client workshops and functional elicitation sessions.
The candidate can articulate and address architectural gaps between client current state versus desired future state using Salesforce CPQ, DocuSign CLM and SAP Billing.
The candidate will work closely with Business (Sales Ops, Pricing, Order Management, Renewals, ProServices), IT (CRM, Data, System Integrations) teams to ensure product solutions support business needs, follow strong architectural principles and serve as a technical & thought leader for CPQ
Ensures that architectural decisions are well-documented, and that all business and technical stakeholders are appropriately involved in decision making, and informed of decisions.
The candidate is expected to have solid experience in implementing new Salesforce CPQ solutions and migrating from legacy CPQ solutions to Salesforce CPQ.
Candidate should have a strong understanding of CPQ and billing processes & operations as they apply to subscriptions, perpetual, order orchestration, provisioning & activation, revenue recognition, invoice generation, taxation, payment processing, and other integrations
The candidate will be customer focused, highly collaborative and constantly seek input to ensure success.

Required Skills:
Salesforce CPQ Implementation experience is a must
Extensive Solution Architecture experience with Salesforce CPQ is preferred
Integration experience with DocuSign CLM experience is preferred
Previous architecture experience on Salesforce Platform is preferred
SAP Billing experience is a huge plus.
This is a role that requires excellent communication skills, since the solution architect will have to interact with business stakeholders, technical leads, software engineers and senior management. Most of the relationships will be internal, but some will be external.
