The Salesforce Developer is responsible for developing applications for vital parts of the business. The Salesforce Developer will be tasked with enhancing the customer, dealer, and employee workflows by developing better workflows within and outside of Salesforce and integrating new technologies/ ancillary support platforms. This position must be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.


  • Perform configuration and customization of the platform
  • Integrate multiple systems with Salesforce, including internal proprietary and third-party applications
  • Architecting databases
  • Customer support with internal employees, dealers / sales reps, and homeowners
  • Build Salesforce applications using Apex and Visualforce and leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform to support the company's programs
  • Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with the developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience
  • Developing new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends
  • Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members
  • Work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution
  • Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule
  • Define and communicate technical and design requirements
  • Provide training, help and support to other team members
  • Conduct UI tests and optimize performance
  • Participate in conferences and educational programs
  • Follow new and emerging technologies
  • Must be able to problem solve effectively
  • Must have the ability to frequently update projects in Click Up (will be trained on how)
  • Other duties as assigned



  • College Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical field
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
  • Ability to develop timelines for projects and meet deadlines
  • Programming Languages Preferred: Javascript, HTML / CSS, JSON, REST, SOAP API development
  • Experience dealing with non-technical co-workers or collaborators to translate business needs into technical implementation
  • Strong ability to predict complexity, technical debt, and cost-benefit analysis for a given technical implementation
  • Must have a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • SalesForce Developer Certification desired
