This salesforce quality assurance/tester (QA) position will help us accelerate bringing new features to our customers. The individual will be r esponsible for managing and executing salesforce custom code testing process and execution of deployments ; r ecommend ing and support ing on-going improvements of the current testing tools to reduce testing time and improve code quality.

The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high-quality products, performs well in a team environment, learns quickly, and desires to continuously develop their skills. They p articipate in the design, development, enhancement of salesforce test scripts and manual testing efforts including but not limited to:

  • Playing a supporting role in HHT's implementation of Salesforce Communities including QA Testing of the re-platforming critical customer-facing mobile applications and sales enablement tools by writing test scripts and manual tests.
  • Regression testing on Salesforce Releases.
  • Writing test scripts on Salesforce existing custom code as applications are enhances and creating/updating documentation.
  • Manual testing of Salesforce custom applications, as necessary.
  • Running Code deployments.

Some supporting objectives for this individual include:

  • Assur ing quality on custom salesforce.com applications, and more by writing JEST tests.
  • Possess es an inquisitive mind that is driven to identify issues in software and usability.
  • Ability to analyze written requirements and execute tests against those requirements.
  • Improv ing the use of current testing tools and process to reduce testing time and improve code quality.
  • Supports and maintains internal and customer-facing applications in Salesforce instances with QA testing and conducts long-term QA testing improvements to ensure compatibility with evolving business requirements.
  • Follows best practices for the full software development life cycle, including adhering to coding standards, setting up and maintaining builds for continuous integration, designing, and coding enterprise framework components, and performing code reviews.

Required Qualifications

  • Trained and Experience in software testing, concepts, practices and procedures of software development, and quality assurance in the Salesforce.com environment.
  • Self-motivated, and great time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and technical writing capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain focus on the task at hand.
  • Ability to analyze written requirements and execute tests against those requirements.
  • Possess an inquisitive mind that is driven to identify issues in software and usability.
  • Ability to work with IT Developers and end-users in a support capacity.
  • Able to gain an understanding of the applicable systems to conduct product validation.
  • Able to analyze software development documentation (business requirements, function specification, design specification) to ascertain system functionality / features.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, quality assurance, software development life cycle or software testing.
  • At least 2 years demonstrated experience with a major javascript testing framework.
  • JEST with Lightning Web Components a plus.
