Salesforce Software EngineerWhippany, NJAs a Barclays Salesforce Software Engineer, you will be accountable for owning and delivering complex solutions using Salesforce Technologies. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.What will you be doing?•Developing solutions on Salesforce for a wide variety of internal stakeholders•Ensuring that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the business, ensuring that proper testing is implemented, and performance and security requirements are met•Providing level of effort estimates for the technical portion of solution•Delivering change work packages in time and as per acceptable quality standards•Imparting expertise about Salesforce development, including Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Salesforce configurations, LWC, aura, Apex classes and Apex Web services•Accounting for the Salesforce Security model, Salesforce configuration/customization using Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Scheduled/Batch classes, Lighting web components (LWC)What we're looking for:•Experience with Salesforce development, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Salesforce configurations, LWC, aura, Apex classes, Apex Web services, & Salesforce Security model•Hands-on experience in Salesforce configuration/customization using Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Scheduled and Batch classes, Lighting web components (LWC)•Expertise in configuring Salesforce using out-of-box features, including flows and process builder•Familiarity with integrating with 3rd party applications using REST API, Middleware, and the likeSkills that will help you in the role:•Good comprehension of the DevOps process and experience with the tools that support automation•Quick learner, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deal with numerous tasks simultaneously and with frequently changing priorities•Experience with Agile methodologies, including scrum and continuous integration environments•Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and work effectively in a collaborative team environmentWhere will you be working?At Barclays, we are proud to be redefining the future of finance and here at Whippany we are defining the future of the workplace and the future of the way we work and live.
