About the Team The Customer Experience (Marketing) team works to showcase our brand through the lens of expertise and love. They work to provide a personalized experience for our consumers backed by best-in-class, data-driven marketing capabilities. The Customer Experience team focuses across 4 departments including, Marketing, Creative, Communications, and our Loyalty & CRM team. Everyone brings their own point of view to create a unique experience for the pets and pet parents. About the Location This position is considered to be Fully Remote and work is done from another location outside of Phoenix Home Office (within the United States). Associates that are considered to be Fully Remote do not have a work space at Phoenix Home Office and can expect to be asked to travel to Phoenix Home Office several times a year [or more], based on business needs and in partnership with leadership. Associates that are considered to be Fully Remote will acknowledge the "Remote Work Agreement" upon hire. About the Job The Senior Salesforce Marketing Architect will be responsible for enabling highly personalized customer experiences by supporting strategic business objectives through the use of customer journeys and automations across all channels - Email, Push, SMS. This individual will leverage SalesForce Marketing Cloud to deliver these automated customer journeys across multiple audiences. Effective project management, problem-solving ability, technical and analytical expertise, as well as end-to-end marketing process knowledge will be critical for this role. This individual will coordinate with technology partners, strategic marketing partners and marketing operations partners to identify requirements, create a roadmap for deliverables and execute on a final product. This individual will not only set up new journeys and automations but will be responsible for maintaining and evolving existing journeys/communications. Key Responsibilities And Duties Utilize SalesForce Marketing Cloud to automate and optimize customer journeys. Collaborate with internal email development team, marketing operations team and internal I.T. team when necessary. Collaborate with email marketing managers to ensure successful integration of marketing automation as part of the overall client experience. Help identify use cases for automation as well as execute on requirements provided by the business. Operate A/B testing and provide feedback and recommendations to optimize initiatives. Facilitate and collaborate on the creation, access and relevant management of all data needed to execute personalization and communication automation strategies. Leverage dynamic content capabilities to test, improve, and optimize customer journeys at-scale. Develop rules-based email/text triggers that incorporate segmentation in highly relevant messaging. Monitor journey and campaign execution metrics, tracking and analyzing performance to generate insights to share back with cross functional teams focused on client engagement. Partner with Analytics team to establish and monitor KPIs and to provide performance analysis, including recommendations to improve outcomes. Partner with Technology teams to define and implement new platform features and integrations to successfully deliver and improve marketing automation and reporting capabilities. Oversee user testing and QA processes to ensure quality and integrity of automated programs developed. Monitor existing journeys and automations, problem solving and resolving issues as they arise. Research, test and apply best practices to improve marketing automation performance. Additional Responsibilities Maintain and prioritize the pipeline for communication automation use cases including new use case intake standards in collaboration with Loyalty & Personalization Project Manager. Complete rigorous QA checks on changes affecting journeys. Deep domain expertise in marketing automation, with extensive experience in SalesForce Marketing Cloud, working knowledge of SQL query development, and API integration. Experience leveraging dynamic content to support A/B and multi-variate testing across digital and traditional channels. Strong data processing, and data management skills, with proven ability to define and act upon data-driven insights. Ability to author early-stage use-case requirements. Superior problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and strong process documentation abilities. Ability to work cross functionally at all levels of the organization. Required Qualifications: 3+ years experience in SalesForce Marketing Cloud: Cloud pages, Interaction Studio, Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, Einstein, Contact Builder, Datorama HTML, AmpScript, SQL knowledge Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years communication/marketing automation experience Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Marketing, or related degree About the Culture At PetSmart, we work hard to create a culture where every associate feels like they truly belong and we celebrate the unique stories, backgrounds, and experiences our associates share.
