SUMMARY OF POSITION

The CRM Administrator is tasked with overseeing the CRM system, focusing on Slate, to support Elms College's enrollment and marketing strategies. This role involves managing CRM operations, customization, and development, ensuring data integrity and system efficiency. The Administrator acts as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, providing training and support, and collaborates with various stakeholders for system enhancements. Reporting to the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing and with a dotted line to the Senior IT Infrastructure Manager, this position requires a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills to effectively manage CRM-related projects and initiatives.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • System Management and Maintenance: Focus on managing and maintaining the admissions CRM, ensuring the system's efficiency and effectiveness. This includes import of datasets, applications, forms, and queries.

  • CRM Customization and Development: Play a key role in CRM customization, developing new features, and preparing the system for various operational cycles.

  • Liaison and Training: Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical staff. Provide training and support for CRM (particularly Slate) and other admissions-related technologies.

  • Data Integrity and Security: Ensure data integrity and security, managing user access, roles, and permissions. Develop and update custom permissions for staff and faculty.

  • Problem-Solving and Technical Support: Offer first-level support for CRM-related concerns, troubleshoot functional, process, and system issues, and manage these to resolution.

  • Report Generation and Analysis: Develop and manage infrastructure for reports, fields, and rules. Validate queries for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with campus stakeholders and vendors to enhance CRM processing and operations. Communicate urgent and/or complex CRM issues to the relevant teams.

  • Project and User Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide day-to-day administration of CRM systems. Monitor and resolve daily error and warning notifications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree required.

Experience:  Experience working in higher education recruitment, marketing or other related work.Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of college admissions.
  • Experience in higher education recruitment, marketing, or related field.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, especially Slate. Familiarity with campus ERP/SIS systems, Ellucian Colleague Preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a commitment to the college’s mission and diversity.
