Job DescriptionSenior Salesforce .NET DeveloperNew York, NY (Hybrid 3 days/wk)Contract 6-9 months contract with a probable extensionJob Description:Our investment banking client is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior .NET/Salesforce Developer with a minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience working in .Net and SQL technologies (70%) and Salesforce APIs and the overall platform (30%). As a member of the Investor Solutions IT team, the candidate's expectation is as follows: Ability to have a good grasp of business/IT requirements and proactively ask questions to better understand logic supporting the sales and investor relations business functions and translate into Salesforce customizations. Ability to use the correct data structure concepts and cost-effective algorithms when designing. Analyze requirements against existing data and evaluate the impact or provide alternate solutions, such as a web app to re-present calendar data for the Sales team. Adaptability and willingness to learn new technology to work with various frameworks, tools etc. relevant to the business applications and complex Private Equity fund structures, investor relationships, and contact management. Must have decent SQL server experience in query building to be used in DB side / app data layers libraries. Build and debug n-tier applications and willing to dig deeper into issues to discover root causes, especially during unit testing or responding to QA team escalations. Handle production application support with a quick turnaround and accountability to resolve the issue. Be organized and able to coordinate with different teams to fulfill different data/functionality requirements from upstream/downstream applications. Be able to work independently on code development and comfortable with working on multiple projects and deliverables. Help establish a process to manage all Salesforce customizations and user interface changes like page layouts, search layouts, workflows, calculated fields, validations, notifications, and alerts. Monitor the health Salesforce data replication to local database for custom reporting for fundraising and sales functions and work with the DBA team to troubleshoot when needed. Required Skills Expertise in .Net technology stack (.Net framework, .Net Core, ASP.NET, C#, ADO.Net, Linq) •Expertise in building services REST / SOAP (Web API, WCF) Experience in writing Business logic with optimal performance approach in C# & SQL •Experience in web development frameworks, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, angular and able to implement solutions using third-party JavaScript component libraries Excellent in database design and development with SQL server (DDL, DML commands, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, indexes, Dynamic SQL), handling huge data, performance optimization, and debugging techniques.
