Position Summary

PPG is looking for a Transformation Manager to manage the CRM product. The Transformation manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of the product across multiple business units. Responsible for the planning and governance of the product from the build to the implementation in specific business units. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to drive execution of product deliverables, lead cross functional teams, and find innovative ways to solve problems.

Digital team is leading and the coatings industry through an evolution in business strategies and structure - to capture opportunities enabled by digital technologies and provide amazing customer experiences while unlocking new revenue streams and reaching new customers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and define the governance model for CRM product. Includes governance at an executive leadership level (i.e. steering meetings)
  • Deliver strong and effective cross functional team and executive level communication to ensure stakeholder engagement and alignment
  • Work closely with SBU project managers to coordinate deliverables and timing of specific SBU/market launches
  • Lead and positively influence the cross functional team which includes PPG teams (geographically distributed members which could span multiple SBU's) and external strategic partners
  • Hold the teams accountable for accomplishing key milestones by encouraging communication and collaboration, resolving conflict and demonstrating leadership
  • Anticipate obstacles or risks and solve complex problems to ensure that product deliverables are delivered on schedule and meet financial goals
  • Manage product budget and track resources time
  • Manage complex interdependencies and resources across the product
  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of Program/Project Management; SAP C/4HANA or SAP CRM or any other CRM experience required
  • Experience with Agile and Scaled Agile development principles
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels, including executive leadership
  • Ability to lead and positively influence a large cross functional team, including resources from external vendors/strategic partners
  • Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership/program sponsors
  • Experienced with geographically distributed team

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
  • Preference that candidate be located in Pittsburgh. During COVID, can work remotely, but willing to travel to Pittsburgh per business needs
  • Experience with tools like Azure Devops
