JOB TITLE: Salesforce Administrator SeniorLOCATION: HoustonPOSITION REPORTS TO: Strategic Solutions Group ManagerSCHEDULE: Monday through Friday; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (flex schedule options available); some overtime and some weekends may be requiredWAGES: Commensurate with experience and skillsSUMMARYSun Coast is a leader in Petroleum Wholesale & Distribution and credits that success to our employees, who are our greatest asset. This employee will be involved in all things Salesforce and will be looked at as not only our Senior Salesforce Administrator, but as a mentor to others.RESPONSIBILITIESSolve business problems by customizing the Salesforce Platform Maintains at least high-level familiarity with other Enterprise IT system/business application capabilities and scope definition in order to make recommendations about potential upstream/downstream integration or functionality intersection pointsCommunicates with technical resources in areas related to system support for areas such as wireless, Outlook integration, ERP, etc.Liaison with Salesforce and third-party support of Salesforce, CPQ and related productsPerforms a myriad of ongoing system administrationManages all security settings and conducts regular security/configuration auditsMaintains updated system documentation to include functionality, policies and proceduresEducate personnel on the capabilities and potential applications of Salesforce while staying current on the platform's new tools, capabilities and updatesExecute all configuration changes (this may involve simply changing field names or could be more work-intensive projects such a re-mapping fields and field values or doing a record update project that may require tools such as the Apex Data Loader or Excel Connector)Explore all configuration solutions before resorting to developmentSet up dashboards, alerts, workflows and automate processes as neededParticipate and collaborate with management, developers, team members, end users and others, to ensure requirements are captured and solution adheres to requirements and is consistent across various unitsUnderstand business processes from a customer or end user perspective, and act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical teamProvide ad-hoc training and user support as neededAdapt to changing situations, handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly Work independently and/or in a team environment, effectively interacting with others with a positive attitude Actively participate as a mentor and resource for training other team members Estimate work efforts and prioritize workload Additional duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS5+ years of experience in a Salesforce Administration roleSalesforce certificationMust be local (live within 60 miles)Understands all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including potential system implications of changesAbility to perform new Salesforce release evaluations with business owner & plan new functionality rolloutsAbility to juggle multiple projects, meeting deadlines and exceeding end user expectationsExcellent communication skills both written and verbalPREFERREDOil & Gas Industry ExperienceCPQ experienceSun Coast Resources, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
