As a Jr. Salesforce Administrator at NRG Energy's Vivint Smart Home division, you'll maintain and enhance the Salesforce platform while collaborating across technical teams to translate business initiatives into actionable system improvements. This onsite role in Salt Lake City offers hands-on experience with Salesforce administration, API integrations, and emerging AI technologies in a fast-growing smart home company.

The Jr. Salesforce Administrator role will be responsible for ongoing enhancements and maintenance of the Salesforce platform. Responsibilities include cross-team collaboration on implementation strategies, user management, out-of-the-box capabilities vs customizations, security and visibility constraints, and peer mentorship with the other administrators.
**What you will be working on:**
- Work with the team to translate company initiatives into actionable requirements within our Salesforce platform
- Work with the team to help consult between involved technical teams for ongoing efforts and product strategies
- Recommend custom vs out-of-the-box solutions for new features or product enhancements
- Help manage and support API integrations with authentication and access best practices
- Maintain a working knowledge of supported Salesforce features and products
- Identify opportunities for improvement when assisting with legacy features and implementations
- Assist with AI strategies involving Agentforce and other AI related technologies
**What we are looking for:**
- 2+ years experience implementing and maintaining technical projects and systems
- High School Diploma/GED
- Base awareness of out-of-the-box Salesforce capabilities and features
- Strong analytical perspective and understanding of Salesforce data models and architecture
- Base awareness of Salesforce automation and integration capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
**Preferred:**
- Certification: Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Experience administrating within Salesforce Service Cloud
- Experience administrating and customizing Digital Engagement: Messaging
- Salesforce Einstein/AI experience
- Sales Cloud administration
- Development experience (Apex, Javascript, LWC, Aura)
