Salesforce Admin/Release Engineer, CRM Systems

## Overview GitLab is hiring a **Salesforce Admin/Release Engineer, CRM Systems** to bridge Salesforce administration and DevOps/release engineering for reliable, low-risk Salesforce delivery. ## Responsibilities - Manage release cycles across Dev, Sandbox, UAT, and Production environments. - Deploy metadata/configuration (Apex, Lightning, Flows, integrations) using Salesforce DX/Copado/Gearset-class tooling. - Build and improve CI/CD and automated testing practices for Salesforce. - Configure and maintain platform objects, fields, validation rules, automations, and security settings. - Manage sandbox strategy including refreshes, alignment, and data seeding. - Execute data operations (imports/exports/mass updates) while preserving data integrity. - Monitor system/release health, troubleshoot issues, and perform root-cause analysis. - Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on impact analysis, rollback planning, and post-deploy reviews. ## Requirements - 4–5 years of Salesforce administration experience. - Hands-on release management experience with Salesforce DX/Change Sets/Copado/Gearset. - Strong Salesforce DevOps/CI-CD and multi-environment release strategy knowledge. - Data Loader and Salesforce data management experience. - Git/version-control workflow proficiency. - Strong communication and collaboration in distributed teams. ## Benefits - Flexible paid time off. - Health/financial/well-being benefits. - Equity compensation & ESPP. - Growth and development fund. - Parental leave. - Home office support. ## Work Authorization / Location Notes - Remote role with country-specific hiring eligibility. - Posting includes candidate questionnaire on residency/location and visa sponsorship. ## Compensation Compensation: Not listed. --- Source URL: https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/gitlab/jobs/8398256002
