The Opportunity
Lane Four is seeking a skilled and strategic Solutions Architect to join our team. As the Solutions Architect, you are a systems logistics specialist who designs, implements, and maintains IT systems for our business clients. In this role, you are the one to bring technology, people, and processes together and exercise governance and SME level communication skills among your organization’s members. You are the eyes and the ears and are responsible for designing the structure of new technology systems, overseeing the implementation of programs, and liaising with the software development team.
What you'll be responsible for:
Custom build Salesforce instances and perform customized configuration and integration tasks
Be well-rounded in both functional and technical aspects of a CRM engagement
Implement and optimize declarative and programmatic automation solutions
Work dynamically with other team members to deliver creative, custom solutions
Transform business requirements into technical designs
Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Help lead a technical Center of Excellence, supporting team members with best practices, technical escalations, and how to approach complex requirements
Combine business analysis and technology implementation experience to deliver high quality work
“Put all the pieces together” and oversee projects from high level, delegating smaller tasks and making the decisions on how everything comes together
What you'll bring:
Proven experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions in a consulting or enterprise environment
Deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform (e.g., CPQ, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and integrations)
Strong understanding of system architecture, data modeling, and integration patterns
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
Demonstrate ability to actively listen, understand and respond appropriately when interacting with individuals and groups
Collaborating with colleagues and customers to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements
Adapt to a dynamic work environment and encourage creativity across the team
Exercise excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Being recognized as a functional SF Tech expert who can prioritize the needs of the client
Assisting in hands-on solution design, solution architecture, proofs-of-concept, process flows, as well as configuration and deployment required to support current and new projects
Communicating with all levels of client resources across project management, executive needs, sales, pricing, order, and billing teams
Being responsible for Quality Assurance (QA) of implemented solutions
Proactively anticipating potential issues/feedback and outlining alternative solutions
Taking initiative to conduct your own research first and/or seeking out information to help substantiate ideas
Applying adept problem-solving skills, troubleshooting while also being sensitive to your client’s turnaround time
Preferred Experience
CPQ and/or complex quote to cash implementations.
CPQ > RCA Migrations: Previous experience migrating from CPQ into Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA)
Data 360: Experience working with Data 360 (Data Cloud) specifically supporting data ingestion, identity resolution, & calculated insights
