About the Team: You'll join the Application Engineering team, which supports the platforms we use to deliver exceptional Sales and CX interactions. Our platforms have tremendous scale, and the work we do here directly shapes how the rest of Gusto operates. Here's what you'll do day-to-day: Design, build, and maintain scalable Apex solutions on the Salesforce platform that support our Sales and CX teams Use AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code or equivalent) throughout the development lifecycle to write, review, debug, and document code Oversee ongoing improvements to deployed features and measure their impact Apply Salesforce platform architecture and change/release management best practices, using sf cli for deployments Write well-structured, easily maintainable, and well-documented code Build, test, and debug reliable production systems at scale, ideally real-time, event-driven, or high-throughput Contribute to codebases beyond Salesforce when the work calls for it Here's what we're looking for: 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 4+ years developing on the Salesforce ...
